Privacy notice

Naap Lo is a free health-screening service operated by Naap Lo ("we"). This notice explains what we collect when you use the calculators, why we hold it, and who else can see it. It covers naaplo.pk only.

What we collect

When you complete a check, you give us:

• your name, mobile number, email address and city;
• your age and gender;
• the answers and measurements that check asks for, for example your waist measurement, height and weight, a blood pressure reading, or answers about family history.

We then store the result the calculator produced and the risk band it fell into.

We also record:

• the date and time you gave consent, and the exact wording you agreed to;
• messages you send to the Naap Lo Guide, our on-screen assistant, and its replies;
• a callback request, if you ask for one, including the number and time slot you chose;
• anything you send us through the contact form;
• basic usage events, which check was started and finished, whether the helpline or WhatsApp button was tapped, which language was chosen, tied to a short-lived visit identifier rather than to your name.

We do not ask for, and the calculators do not accept, your national identity number, financial details, or clinical records from a doctor.

The cookie we set

We set one cookie, naaplo_sid. It identifies your visit so that a result page shows your result and not someone else's, and so a second check can reuse what you have already told us. It lasts 30 days, cannot be read by scripts in your browser, and is not used for advertising.

We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, this notice will change with it.

Why we hold it

• To calculate and show your result.
• To send that result and follow-up health guidance to you by email, SMS or WhatsApp. This is what the consent line on the form asks you to agree to.
• To call you back when you request it.
• To let the Naap Lo team see who has completed a check and follow up, including keeping notes against your record.
• To understand, in aggregate, which checks people use and where they stop.

Where you have completed more than one check using the same mobile number or email address, we link those checks into a single record, so we can see your history rather than treating you as a new person each time.

Who else can see it

We use these service providers, and your information passes through them:

• Supabase, stores the database and files behind the service.
• Vercel, runs and serves the website.
• OpenAI, receives the messages you type to the Naap Lo Guide, along with your result, so that it can reply. Please do not type anything into that chat which you would not want processed by a third party.
• Resend, sends your result email.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Where it is held

Our database and files are hosted in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, and the website is served from a global content network. Your information is therefore stored and processed outside Pakistan, by the providers named above.

How long we keep it

We keep your screening records, chat transcripts and contact messages until you ask us to delete them. We do not delete them automatically. If you would like your information removed, contact us using the details below and we will remove it.

Your choices

• You can ask us to stop sending you messages at any time, by calling the helpline on 0324-4736284 or emailing salaam@naaplo.pk.
• You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the same contacts. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

Naap Lo is intended for adults aged 18 and over. The calculators are built on screening instruments validated in adults, and should not be used to screen a child.

This is a screening tool

Naap Lo does not diagnose. It gives you a risk indication to discuss with a qualified healthcare professional, and it is not a substitute for medical care.
